Daily Rate: -160 - -220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in a specialist setting?

Remedy Recruitment is currently working with a dedicated secondary SEN school in Southwark, supporting pupils aged 11-16 with a range of needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties. The school is seeking an inspiring and committed SEN Teacher to join the team from September 2025.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet a wide range of individual needs

• Adapt the curriculum to ensure access and engagement for all pupils

• Manage behaviour effectively, using restorative approaches and emotional support strategies

• Work closely with Learning Mentors, SENCOs, therapists, and parents/carers

• Use EHCP targets to guide planning, assessment, and progress monitoring

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

• Experience teaching in SEN settings, particularly with SEMH, ASD, or complex needs

• Confident in managing challenging behaviour and delivering a therapeutic approach to teaching

• Strong knowledge of differentiation and adaptive teaching strategies

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

• Right to work in the UK

• SEN experience in a school or alternative provision is essential
