Job Title: Project Manager - Earthworks & Roadworks

Location: Southampton

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver earthworks and roadworks projects from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage all phases of earthworks and roadworks projects, including planning, execution, and closeout
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Develop and maintain project programmes and budgets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering, specifically earthworks and roadworks
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience working with NEC Form of contract
