KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant September 2026 - July 2027 £85 - £105 per day Large primary school, Ward of Yardley Provide intervention sessions to support attainmentThe Role: Run focused intervention sessions for KS1 pupils who need extra help with phonics, early reading, writing, and number work. You will work with individuals and small groups, reinforce class teaching, support progress in core subjects, and keep staff updated on how pupils are responding. KS1 sits within the statutory primary national curriculum, which includes English, maths, science, computing, history, geography, art and design, music, and PE.The Candidate: You are proactive, patient, and able to explain things in a simple way that younger pupils understand. You want practical classroom experience, enjoy helping children make progress, and are keen to build the skills and confidence needed for a future in teaching.
