A friendly and inclusive primary school in Banbury is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children''s learning and wellbeing in a classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will be a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant with excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively within the school environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children with their academic progress and social development, ensuring that every pupil feels included and encouraged.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons as a Teaching Assistant.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Assisting with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
• A positive and adaptable approach to working in a school environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• A commitment to supporting children''s learning and development as a Teaching Assistant.
