The school provides 120 places for students aged 11-19 who experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Many students have experienced disrupted education and require a nurturing, structured environment to rebuild their confidence and develop practical life skills. The school has excellent vocational facilities including a fully equipped salon and barbering suite.As a Beauty and Barbering Teacher you will be responsible for:Teaching KS4-5 students with SEMH needs in practical beauty therapy and barbering skillsPlanning and delivering engaging, hands-on lessons whilst monitoring student progressSupporting students to achieve industry-recognised qualifications (City and Guilds, VTCT)Working closely with support staff to implement individual behaviour support plansCreating a safe, therapeutic learning environment that builds student confidenceLiaising with careers advisors to support students'' progression into employment or ..... full job details .....
