ADHD Teaching Assistant Romford, East London Temp-Perm Role: ADHD roleStart: ASAPLocation: Romford, East London Rate: 95- 110 per dayContract: Full timeDuration: Temp - Perm We are looking for an ADHD Teaching Assistant to join one our biggest SEN schools in South London. You will be delivering the best support to students aged 11-16. We would require you to have strong Autism experience as most of the students have mild SEN and are working at a high level. The key aspect of this role is cohering to the behaviour de-escalation methods and promoting positive reinforcement strategies. The ideal candidate:Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.Requirement:Must have strong SEN ExperienceCandidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service (Not mandatory as we can provide one)Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behavioursBasic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.If you are interested, ..... full job details .....
