Governance OfficerBury St EdmundsPart-time, 22.5 hours per week£40,500 pro rata We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Governance Officer to lead on all aspects of governance within a growing, mission-driven organisation. This new role requires a proactive professional with strong governance expertise, excellent organisational skills, and the confidence to work closely with senior leaders. Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation and oversight of governance functionsProvide constructive support to senior leadersWork collaboratively with Executive and Non-Executive teams to embed strong governance practiceProduce high-quality reports and governance documentationEnsure compliance with regulatory standardsInterpret and present data to inform decision-makingMaintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundariesEnhance internal systems and processesManage a varied workload independently and meet deadlinesMaintain compliance requirements and system usageUndertake relevant training as needed Key Requirements Experience as a Governance Officer, ideally within a regulated or charitable settingStrong understanding of governance principles and regulatory standardsAbility to produce accurate, high-quality reports and minutesExcellent organisational, ..... full job details .....
