The Business Partner teams lead engagement with business units across the department. We need to be resourceful, exercise good judgement and have quick reflexes to make sure that senior leaders have the right financial advice at the right time to deliver important and urgent parts of the Government''s agenda. Your work with us As Finance Business Partner, you''ll be key to the relationship between the finance function and individual business areas. With each business area, you''ll seek to develop a deep understanding of their needs and priorities. You''ll then contextualize these within the bigger picture, provide analysis and benchmarking to highlight opportunities and add value. This will mean that a business is clear on the financial implications of decisions and choices available to them. You''ll support businesses further through financial analysis to prepare for Spending Reviews, risk management and business planning processes. As well as through identifying sustainable cost savings targets and initiatives as part of the business planning cycle.
