This role involves working closely with children who have Moderate Learning Disabilities and supporting their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).Key Responsibilities: Implement individualised education programs for children with MLD. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and Senior Leadership Teams to ensure the best outcomes for the children. Monitor and report 1:1 progress of students, support with classes and making adjustments to their plans and report to the class teacher/ department lead. Provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Utilise a variety of resources and sensory techniques to cater to different learning styles and needs. Stay updated with current best practices and methodologies in special education.Requirements: Relevant qualifications and experience in special education, specifically working with children with Moderate Learning Disabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with special needs.
