Job Description:

• Deliverandnbsp;engaging and challenging lessonsandnbsp;acrossandnbsp;KS3 and KS4 Computer Science, with potential for KS5
• Inspire students to exploreandnbsp;computational thinking,andnbsp;problem-solving, andandnbsp;digital creativity
• Teach programming languages such asandnbsp;Python,andnbsp;JavaScript, orandnbsp;Scratch, and introduce students toandnbsp;cybersecurity,andnbsp;AI, andandnbsp;data science
• Use a variety ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform planning
• Foster aandnbsp;positive and inclusive classroom environmentandnbsp;that supports all learners
• Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;coding clubs,andnbsp;STEM competitions, andandnbsp;cross-curricular projects

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
• Be aandnbsp;reflective and adaptable practitionerandnbsp;with strongandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiationandnbsp;skills
• Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;student wellbeing
