Our client, a world-leading hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Lead Frontend Engineer to drive the development of high-performance trading platforms and internal web applications. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and backend engineers to build intuitive, scalable, and data-rich interfaces that support real-time decision-making and execution.Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and development of frontend systems using React.js, Typescript, and GraphQL.Build and optimize data-intensive UI components with AG Grid and other visualization libraries.Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and services built in Node.js and other server-side languages.Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability across all web applications.Champion best practices in frontend engineering, including testing, CI/CD, and code quality.Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership across the engineering team.Role Requirements

7+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.Deep expertise in React.js, Typescript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.Strong understanding of GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and backend integration patterns.Experience with AG Grid or similar tools for handling large datasets in the UI.Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js and a server-side language (e.g., Python, Java, or C#).Background in financial services or other real-time, data-driven environments is highly desirable.Seniority level
