Job Title: Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

My client are a very well established Entertainment Lighting provider, who specialise in providing specialist lighting equipment to a range of well-known companies within the music, sporting, television and movie sectors and have worked on large scale projects such as The London Olympics, as well as some iconic, block buster movies.-

Due to business growth, they are looking to add a new member of staff to their Warehouse/Logistics team in order to support the supply chain, stock holding and logistics of equipment and stock supplies of electronic components. The role will require someone who is suitably qualified and has experience with a Counterbalance Forklift Truck. You must be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling.-

Key Features of the role:

Packing orders for Despatch (involves physical work and some manual handling)

Kitting (can be trained if not experienced)

Forklift driving (You MUST Have a valid Counterbalanace Forklift Licence)

Targets:

• Ensure orders are picked accurately and finished items/kits are prepared for despatch.
• Ensure adequate levels of stock and components to meet production and delivery demand

Skills/Experience Required:

- Previous Warehouse/Logistics/Stores experience (Minimum 1-2 year''s - ideally within Despatch would be a distinct advantage);

- Computer literate with basic skills in the use of Microsoft office;

- Accuracy and Attention to detail when executing tasks;

- You MUST Have a valid Counterbalanace Forklift Licence;

- Physically fit and able to carry out some manual handling responsibilities;

- Positive manner, flexible and willing to learn.
