Cover Supervisor
Location: Greenwich
Salary: £90 - £130 per day

GSL Education London Branch is looking for dedicated Cover Supervisors to join some of the outstanding secondary schools in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in schools, enhance your teaching skills, and inspire the next generation.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise whole classes during teachers'' absences, ensuring students remain focused and productive.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and materials provided by the school.
• Support students’ learning and behaviour while maintaining a positive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe and tidy workspace.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour.

Requirements for the Cover Supervisor role:

• Previous experience working with young people is advantageous (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or coaching).
• Confidence in managing a classroom and engaging with students.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
