Groundworker - Cambridge (CB1)Pay: 20.50 per hour (CIS/UTR) Start Date: 5th December, Friday Hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm (9.5 hours paid) (7:30 am first day induction) IntroductionWe are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworker to join a civils project based in Cambridge (CB1). The successful candidate will be working as part of an established site team, supporting daily groundwork activities and ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and to a high standard. This role is suitable for someone who is confident in drainage, trenching, and general civils tasks and is able to work efficiently under site supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out drainage installation and associated worksPerform trenching, ducting, and excavation tasksPrepare slabs and kerbs as requiredComplete backfilling, levelling, and compaction worksAssist plant operators and follow site instructionsMaintain a safe working environment and support general civils dutiesEnsure all work areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each shiftRequirementsValid CSCS CardFull PPE: Hi-Vis, Hard Hat, Safety Boots, Gloves, Safety GlassesProven experience Valid IDAbility to provide one recent reference from a previous supervisor or site managerAdditional InformationWeekly pay via CIS/UTRImmediate start following inductionLong-term potential for the right candidateBarker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
