This is a newly created position for a Lead Software Developer to take a newly created position with a Northampton based firm paying £75,000 - £85,000 in a hybrid work environment. This is both a hands-on technical and leadership role, responsible not only for building high-quality, scalable systems but also for implementing and maintaining modern development, coding, and deployment practices across the team. This Lead Developer role will be ideal for someone looking to move into a Head of Development/Development Manager role and start taking on team management, strategy andamp; road-mapping responsibilities. To be considered for this position you will need solid hands on development skills with: React andamp;/or Node.JS JavaScript andamp; HTML Python AWS, S3 andamp; Lambda Redshit or equivalent SQL As a Lead Full Stack/Lead Software Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design, development and deployment of full stack web applications and business tools. In addition to developing and maintaining scalable cloud based solutions, you will be responsible for development standards, implementing coding practices, version control andamp; code reviews, implementing deployment practices, change management, and mentoring/managing junior developers.
