The service supports a wide range of public bodies across London and the Home Counties and is known for delivering high-quality, cost-effective legal advice across multiple specialist areas.You''ll be part of a forward-thinking legal service with a strong emphasis on collaboration.Your new roleAs a Civil Litigation Lawyer / Senior Lawyer (G10-MG1), you will manage a varied caseload across housing, homelessness, licensing, judicial review, and general civil litigation.Key responsibilities: Advising clients across a broad range of civil litigation mattersManaging your own caseload to recognised quality standardsDrafting and negotiating legal documents and pleadingsProviding clear, practical legal advice (including in public meetings)Attending court and hearings, including occasional out-of-hours workContributing to training and knowledge sharingSupporting or mentoring junior team members (G11/MG1)Handling complex and politically sensitive matters at senior levels What you''ll need to succeedYou must be a qualified solicitor, barrister, CILEx lawyer, or overseas-qualified lawyer with relevant litigation experience.Essential requirements: Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedureExperience in housing, homelessness, licensing, or judicial reviewExcellent communication and client-care skillsAbility to ..... full job details .....
