DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:SAIC is seeking a Data Center Project Manager Systems Engineer and Technical Assistant (SETA) for a position supporting a US Government customer in the

UK

. The successful applicant will exhibit flexibility in task execution, operate independently in the best interest of the government, and coordinate all engagements, technical exchange meetings, and interactions required to help the government successfully operationalize data centers and facilitate transition of systems into data centers.RESPONSIBILITIES:The successful candidate must be able to:Proactively perform as an organized and independent project manager facilitating all engagements required to ensure successful data center completions and data center migrations

Operate proactively with ability to lead and execute project engagements without direct leadership oversight and/or participation

Provide technical reviews of all data center and data center customer artifacts

Represent the government at all data center site surveys

Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs

Perform as key Technical Advisor for articulating service requirement gaps to support customer mission architecture

Educate consumers on current and upcoming IT service deliveries, changes, and potential impacts to existing capabilities

TS/SCI with Polygraph required to start on the program.

QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:Must be a US Citizen

Bachelors in a STEM related field and five (5) years or more experience; Masters in a STEM related field and three (3) years or more experience; * ten or more years IT and IT Project Management experience may be considered in lieu of degree (by exception and must be approved)

Experience understanding and navigating government site and headquarters processes is required

PMP is a plus

Data Center experience is a plus

Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with current Poly

Broad experience with IT, e.g. networks, hosting, desktops as well as experience with IT architecture
