The Opportunity:-

A forward-thinking and dynamic primary school in Kent is seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school that values innovation, creativity, and academic excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the education of Year 4 pupils, providing a stimulating and engaging environment where students can flourish academically and socially. Key Responsibilities:-

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 National Curriculum, focusing on both academic and personal development.-

  • Use a variety of assessment methods to track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.-

  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment that supports effective learning and pupil well-being.-

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to teaching and learning across the school.-

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and fostering positive relationships within the school community.-

  • Actively participate in the wider school community, contributing to extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.-

Person Specification:-

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.-

  • Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.-

  • Proven ability to assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.-

  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive, focused, and productive learning environment.-

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.-

  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.-
