You''ll also have the opportunity to provide input into capital and operational projects to ensure assets fully meet operational and maintenance requirements.As the role can require lone working you will need to be comfortable working alone or as part of a team.Please note, this role will also include working in confined space and will include participation in an out of hour''s standby rotaAccountabilities and ResponsibilitiesImplement an efficient Instrumentation maintenance and installation service.Analyse faults, rectify and ensure correct Instrumentation and systems-based equipment.Perform planned and proactive maintenance activities.Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and internal company policiesMaintain required financial control of a pre-defined budgets.Provide reliable, accurate and complete asset performance and repair information for entry into corporate systems.Analyse and recommend solutions to recurring maintenance problems.Technical Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this role you must have:The ability to work in a team but also alone, be resilient, self-motivated, with strong problem solving skills and possess the required technical competenceAble and willing to diversify into specialised areas of maintenance as required.Diagnostic, organisational, planning, communication and computer skillsIndustry ExperienceThis role may not be eligible for the visa sponsorshipDo you want to be our next Field Service Engineer, show us you have the following essential skills:A full UK driving licenseTime-served apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on industry experience.Industry experience in a relevant maintenance, instrumentation or engineering environmentStrong diagnostic, organisational and planning skillsExperience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, including fault diagnostics, basic system modifications and disaster recovery.Ability and willingness to diversify into specialist areas of maintenance as needed.We rely on every employee to ensure our customers receive the best possible service, day in, day out.
