Our client is currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. The Commercial Gas Engineer will be responsible for servicing, repairs, PPM and reactive maintenance for commercial buildings covering the London area.The Commercial Gas Engineer will be field-based and you will be provided with a Van and fuel card.Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Gas EngineerCompletion of planned preventative maintenance activities in line with company maintenance schedules (commercial gas boilers, pumps, actuators, plate heat exchangers, pressurisation units, degassers)Repair and reinstatement of commercial plant (as per above)Completion of fault finding and repairs to commercial gas boilers and other equipment including pumps and pipeworkAttend reactive call-outs to sites to reinstate heat and resolve plant failuresTake part in an on-call rota and attend callouts (typically 1 week in 4)Review root causes for plant failure (resolve operational issues which arise)Management of site-based project work and development of the scope of works for plant remediation.Key Experience for the Commercial Gas Engineer2 years+ of experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer or in a similar capacityCommercial gas registration, Testing and Purging Training Course (TPCP1) requiredGas Booster (BMP1) nice to haveNVQ Level 2 in Gas / Plumbing and Gas.Please apply as ..... full job details .....
