We''re seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role, you''ll enjoy a well-balanced caseload between medicine and surgery. We actively support career development through continuous training and education, and we are happy to provide nurturing and inspiration for applicants interested in pursuing a certificate qualification. This is a sole charge role, so we''re looking for a candidate comfortable with this challenge. If you join us full-time, you''ll split your time evenly between our New Hall and Edrington practices. Part-time roles are exclusively at New Hall.

Rota patterns that work for youOur people are at the heart of everything we do, which is why work-life balance is vital. Ideally, we''re looking for someone to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. No weekends or out-of-hours are required for this role.

A bit about usWe are an encouraging group willing to fund certificates and specific interests, firmly believing in continuous learning. We hold monthly vet meetings, have a WhatsApp clinical discussion group, and colleagues are only a phone call away. Our team includes veterinary surgeons, nursing branch leads, RVNs, SVNs, VCA''s, and receptionists, each with their own career pathways. Our clinics are PSS accredited, established for over 30 years, with many staff members still with us. Facilities include labs, surgical, and dental equipment, with access to advanced diagnostic tools like dental x-ray, ultrasonography, ophthalmic, and orthopaedic kits.

What the team have to say!"I started working for TVC two and a half years ago after a short break to start a family. The support from the team at Newhall has been fantastic. We see a diverse range of cases, and I have been supported through my small animal medicine certificate and career progression. We are well equipped, and our nurses are experienced and fantastic. We are more than colleagues; we are family." - Jenny, vet.
