Matterport is looking for an experienced and well-rounded Director (GM), to lead the growth of the Capture Services product/business line across the International region including EMEA and APAC. Capture Services is a new business area of Matterport that seeks to improve the delivery model of Matterport scans and provide a seamless experience for customers in all verticals to leverage the value of a 3D digital twin of a property. Capture Services is a fully managed solution for Matterport customers who require on-demand scheduling for experienced and reliable Matterport Capture Technicians to scan their properties. This service gives customers flexibility to harness the power of Matterport 3D virtual tours without any investment in hardware. The GM will be responsible for building a two-sided marketplace, which is a fine balancing act between predicting demand (primarily through building relationships with customers) and managing supply of our capture service providers. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity and can develop, execute and iterate on scalable processes that will allow this network to grow.Responsibilities
Directly own the PandL responsibility for our regional Capture Services organization in the international region. You will oversee the budgets, PandL performance, and be responsible for optimizing our financials to reach profitability targets.Sustainably grow the business. You will be responsible for identifying recurring scan opportunities and ensuring a healthy two sided marketplace that is profitable from the onset.Cultivate an engaged scan service provider community. Manage and set vetting and onboarding requirements for our service providers and ensure high satisfaction for members of this community.Manage the Capture Services organization within the region. You will be responsible for hiring, and managing the performance/unlocking the potential of high performing teams throughout the region.Oversee local regulatory concerns and local policy.Build and develop strong relationships with senior cross-functional leaders including Sales and Sales Ops, Marketing and People Ops in order to successfully drive the long-term growth.Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent in Business or Engineering related fields or equivalent experience.Proven entrepreneurial experience. MBA is highly desirable.Proven experience in startups, operations, consulting, and/or technology across the EMEA and APAC Region.Prior PandL and/or meaningful budget responsibility.Strong interpersonal and management skills. Ability to build and manage strong relationships with your team, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners.Analytical thinking. Data-driven mentality and strong business judgment. Ability to use data to establish highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them.Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.Leadership by example.
