Role: Interim Senior Finance ManagerType: Interim Contract (3-6 months)Rate: 350 - 450 per dayHybrid Working: 3 days on-site per weekLocation: Sheffield, South YorkshireSellick Partnership are supporting a local authority in South Yorkshire with the recruitment of an Interim Senior Finance Manager to provide leadership and support across a busy finance function during a period of change.Key responsibilities include:Leading the production of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and financial reportingSupporting budget holders and senior stakeholders with financial advice and challengeManaging the budget-setting process and in-year budget monitoringProviding strategic financial support across a range of service areasSupporting year-end accounts, audit requirements, and statutory reportingLeading and developing finance staff within the teamEnsuring compliance with local government financial regulations and proceduresThe ideal candidate will have:Previous Senior Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, or equivalent experience within a local authority environmentStrong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experienceExperience supporting senior stakeholders and budget holdersA good understanding of local government finance and relevant regulationsExcellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to commute to Sheffield and attend the office 3 days per weekPlease note that local authority experience is a ..... full job details .....
