About our Nursery

Maidstone Ragstone House, rated Good by Ofsted, is a small and friendly nursery with a capacity of 52 children, situated in a charming converted house across two floors in a listed building. Our nursery features convenient parking facilities and is ideally located near the train station with easy access to bus routes. Nestled in a semi-rural setting, we have close links to local schools, fostering community connections. We also offer free parking for staff, ensuring convenient access to our welcoming environment.

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Required Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
