About The RoleWe are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Andover within our Highways Division. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and safe operations of our field-based HGV Engineers and Operatives who carry out on the highways carrying out cleaning, surveys and some repairs work.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and coordination of engineering activities, performing site Health and Safety audits, ensuring the team is properly equipped, and maintaining a professional and safe working environment.

Hours:
50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.
Salary:
£38,000-£44,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Assist with planning and coordinating the activities of the engineering team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
Being the first point of contact for the operatives and supporting them with problem solving for any drainage related issues.
Customer/Client interaction- providing timescales and being a contact to answer any questions or queries they may have
Perform Health and Safety audits on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Ensure that the team has the necessary equipment, information, and resources to complete work efficiently and safely.
Assisting in managing the companys vehicles and plant within the depot, ensuring they are properly calibrated, serviced, and maintained.
Maintain the fleet and equipment in a condition that reflects the companys professional image and commitment to Health and Safety.
Oversee the efficient scheduling of work to maximise productivity and asset usage.
About You
Previous experience in drainage or utilities is preferred, but not essential.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of field-based engineers.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks effectively to optimise workflow and asset usage.
