This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated property lawyer seeking a varied and rewarding role within the public sector.Role: Property LawyerLocation: Derby - Hybrid Working Available - Local AuthorityContract Length: 3 months ongoingUmbrella Rate: £55 - £57phPAYE Inc. Rate: £48.41 - £50.15ph Key Responsibilities: The role will involve handling a range of transactional and advisory property work, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters (commercial and residential), leases, licences, deeds, and associated property documentation.Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers, licences and related documentation.Attending meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners (virtually and in person as required). Key Requirements: 3+ years of PQE in property law as a solicitor in England and Wales.Experience of local government property work is desirable but not essential.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
