Nursery Nurse Level 3 Location: Catford SE6 Salaries: £24,000 - £26,000 per year Hours: 8 hours shifts - Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent Full-Time, Part-time Our client is recruiting for a Nursery Nurse Level 3 for a (Home-like-Enviorment) nursery located in Catford. The Nursery Nurse will be directly responsible for creating and maintaining an engaging environment that is both stimulating and comfortable, while also establishing positive relationships with both children and their parents, as well as a genuine interest in the childcare sector. Knowledge A sound understanding of early childhood development and learning. Training in the relevant learning strategies. First aid training/training as appropriate is desirable. Understanding of relevant polices/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation. Good working knowledge of national/foundation stage curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies. Understanding of Healthy Schools initiative and Every Child Matters framework. An understanding of Child Protection / Safeguarding issues and procedures.
