Office based - WFH from time to time

Salary negotiable up to -45k - plus benefits package

On behalf of Our Client - we are looking for an experienced ESTIMATOR. Experience is essential, preferable from a wood/metal background

Duties and Responsibilities:

• -Taking briefs from the estimating manager and/or client.
• -Review and understanding the job specific tender requirements and contractual terms.
• -Preparing tender packages for suppliers, subcontractors and incumbent factories.
• -Liaison with the supply base throughout the tender process to answer queries and ensure timely receipt of quotations.
• -The preparation of multiple, accurate and detailed estimates using Microsoft excel that incorporate the required materials and necessary workshop labour for all operations, such as; machining, joinery, assembly &/or welding.
• -Analysis of supplier tender returns.
• -Suggesting VE solutions.
• -Submission of tender documents to the estimating manager in a timely manner.
• -Liaison with clients post tender, answering queries and making amendments.
• -Handing over to project delivery team and working with various departments to ensure delivery of projects on time and on budget.
• -Attending prestart meetings.
• All engineering ESTIMATING backgrounds will be considered.

This is a non hybrid role - office based - with occasional site visibility.
