As the Sister/Charge Nurse for the Day Unit, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient experiences and delivering exceptional clinical and professional leadership to the team. The Sister/Charge Nurse will be supporting and deputising for the Department Manager on supervising daily operations within the Day Unit, overseeing patient flow, admissions, timelyassessment and treatment of daycase admissions for infusions and short stay procedures. The Sister/Charge Nurse will also work closely with the Endocrine CNS, supporting specialist dynamic function tests within our Endocrine Investigation Unit. This position provides mentorship and support to the team, serving as both a clinical expert and role model. You will ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained through rigorous monitoring or both personal and clinical team competence, implementing evidence-based practices, adherence to policy and guidelines, fostering development initiatives and delivering high quality service to patients, their families and other stakeholders.
