AylesburySalary - Negotiable DOEMonday - Friday daysYour new company:Based in Aylesbury, you will be joining a fast-paced manufacturing business, who, due to continued growth, are seeking a Health and Safety officer to join their production and facilities team!The Health and Safety officer will work with the team to help develop the company''s health, safety and environmental standards and maintain Iso standards.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Develop, implement, and maintain EHandS policies, procedures, and systems in line with UK legislation and industry best practices. Monitor and report on EHandS performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely and accurate management reporting. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections across the site to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring lessons learnt are communicated and embedded. Coordinate EHandS training and awareness programmes for all staff, including induction and refresher sessions. This is a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:Experience in a similar role, within a fast past manufacturing or engineering environmentNEBHOSH General certificateStrong knowledge of UK EHandS legislation and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
