Audio Prep SupervisorSurrey35 hours per week£35,000- £37,500 The Role:As Audio Prep / De-prep Supervisor, you will oversee the preparation, de-preparation and testing of equipment before and after it is sent to events while supporting coordinating a team of prep technicians.You will work a 5 day week which could involve weekends.This is an ideal role for a senior prep technician or an experienced audio technician / sound engineer, looking to take a step into a senior role within the touring industry.Key Responsibilities: Overseeing activity within the prep and de-prep departmentCoordinating equipment between departments for upcoming eventsOverseeing rack builds and system preparationSupervising testing and fault finding of equipmentSupporting FOH sound engineers with system preparationSupervising a team of 15+ warehouse techniciansCarrying out quality checks on prepared equipmentPlanning daily prep schedules for upcoming projectsAssigning technicians to projects and prep tasksEnsuring equipment is ready for dispatch and meets operational standards Requirements: Background in live events as either a warehouse prep technician or sound engineer.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate teams of staffStrong technical knowledge of audio systems (A good understanding of equipment from brands such as Digico, Avid, SSL, Allen and Heath, L-acoustics, DandB would be highly beneficial)Good knowledge of the touring industry (preferred)Knowledge of Dante ..... full job details .....
