Chef de Partie - Carver Barracks£15.45 per hour 37.5 hours per weekContract: 5 days over 7 1 in 4 weekends We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our catering team at Carver Barracks. This role involves delivering high-quality meals for 50-100 service personnel, working as part of a team of 10, and supporting day-to-day kitchen operations in a professional military environment. Service Times Breakfast: 07:00 - 08:00Lunch: 12:30 - 13:30Evening Meal: 16:30 - 19:30 Shift Patterns Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00Late Shift: 11:00 - 19:00Working 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present meals to service standards. Take responsibility for your section, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Support senior chefs with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Maintain excellent food hygiene, health, and safety standards. Assist with stock control, food rotation, and allergen management. Work efficiently across all shift patterns to ensure smooth service delivery. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or equivalent) preferred. Culinary qualifications desirable (City and Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexible, reliable, and able to work early, late, and weekend shifts.
