Role Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and evolve their technology landscape. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will manage and optimise cloud environments, ensure security and compliance, and work closely with the Solutions Architect to deliver scalable, high-performing infrastructure solutions. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Azure and the broader Microsoft technology stack is essential, along with flexibility to support on-call and out-of-hours requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability Azure cloud infrastructure. Administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring compliance and seamless user experience. Develop and enforce application control policies to maintain secure and compliant usage across the organisation. Implement Microsoft Purview data governance policies for proper classification and compliance. Manage Intune and endpoint security, including device compliance, application deployment, and mobile device management. Continuously monitor and optimise cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability. Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform for streamlined provisioning and configuration. Implement robust security controls, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
