Opportunities for ongoing professional growth.Your Responsibilities:Act as Mechanical Design Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME).Analyze and justify mechanical designs and component choices.Resolve mechanical issues during hardware design, development, manufacture, and testing.Ensure baseline and change control activities follow Configuration Management (CM) processes.Provide mechanical/electro-mechanical support across multiple programs.Lead the mechanical team to ensure process and requirements compliance.Produce, review, and approve technical documentation (drawings, BOMs).Your Experience:Strong background in Mechanical Design Engineering.Engineering degree or extensive experience without a degree.Knowledge of mechanical Defence Standards.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Capable of working under pressure in dynamic environments.Your Future Team:This role suits a Principal Mechanical Engineer seeking career growth and support in a design team working on submarines for the Royal Navy.
