Adecco are please to be recruiting for a Security Guard to work within the Thames Valley Police Force based in Newbury Position: Security GuardContract Type: TemporaryWorking Pattern: Full Time 39 hours per week (the role will working early, late''s and night shifts with a 9 week rolling rota covering 24 hours)Salary: 13.65 per hour + Shift Allowance Important Note:Due to police vetting criteria, candidates must have resided in the UK continuously for at least 5 years at the time of application.The overall purpose of the role is to: Provide overall security/guarding capability to protect the assets and staff at the CTPSE site.KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS:Physical Security and protection of CTP SE assets and people Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with assignment instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and CTP SE Security Protocols and responding to perimeter detection alarmCovering the Gatehouse and Reception This will include but not be limited to: checking of visitors/contractors before entry into compound; verification against visitor lists; checking of identification documents (IDs); issue of visitor passes and notifying reception; managing and verifying deliveries; preventing tailgating and ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted entry.
