Business Development Manager - Midlands base - Up to 60,000We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to grow their UK transport operations. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities across domestic UK logistics, with additional emphasis on UK-Ireland transport solutions as a strong advantage.You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and developing profitable transport contracts while building long-term relationships with key clients.Location: Midlands - Hybrid/remote basedSalary: Up to 60,000Additions: Car allowance and commissionKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify and secure new business opportunities within the UK transport sectorDevelop and manage a strong sales pipeline across key industries (retail, FMCG, manufacturing, etc.)Promote full load, part load, and groupage transport servicesDrive growth in UK domestic transport, with added focus on UK-Ireland freight lanesBuild and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat businessConduct client meetings, presentations, and contract negotiationsCollaborate with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectationsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategiesAchieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIsMaintain accurate records using CRM systemsKey RequirementsProven experience in business development within the UK transport/logistics sectorStrong knowledge of UK road transport operationsExperience selling transport ..... full job details .....
