You’ll oversee the end-to-end audit process, ensuring high standards of delivery while building lasting client relationships. This role also involves managing and developing a team of seniors and junior staff, providing guidance and support throughout audit engagements. The culture here is collaborative, supportive, and built around empowering individuals to thrive professionally and personally.Key Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of SME clients, leading audit engagements from planning through to completionOversee a team of Audit Seniors and junior staff, providing training, mentoring, and performance feedbackReview audit files for technical accuracy and complianceMaintain strong client relationships and identify areas for further support or advisory servicesReport to senior management and partners on progress, key issues, and resource planningEnsure audits are delivered within timeframes and budgetSupport wider departmental initiatives, including quality assurance and staff developmentWhat You’ll Need:ACA or ACCA qualifiedProven experience managing audits within a UK accountancy practiceStrong working knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standardsDemonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead audit teamsExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsA proactive, collaborative mindset and a commitment to high audit standardsUnfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this role.If this sounds like the right move for you, please get in touch.
