You will work closely with other functional teams, to develop products to meet our customer''s needs. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to perform a range of engineering activities including progressing developmental designs into production environments and working with suppliers on technical queries. The Role: So, what will you be doing as a Mechanical Design Engineer? Mechanical Engineering is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer within our Military Packaging Design Team; involving Product Life Cycle, from concepts and detailed designs through to trials, qualification, production, and further in-service support. In this role, you will design and develop mechanical solutions for a wide variety of complex Military Packaging for critical defence products. You will influence design decisions across the full life cycle and play a key role in ensuring designs meet performance, safety, cost and scheduled customer requirements. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain.
