From high-value residential schemes to social infrastructure projects, you’ll play a leading role in structuring deals, negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC), and advising on procurement strategy, joint ventures, and development frameworks.What You’ll DoAct for local authorities, private developers, and housing associations on major development and regeneration schemes.Draft and negotiate construction documentation including building contracts, appointments, collateral warranties, and performance guarantees.Advise on procurement strategy, including alliancing models, JV structuring, and off-site construction.Collaborate closely with cross-practice teams across real estate, projects, and public law.Contribute to precedent development, internal know-how, and junior mentoring.What You’ll Need4+ years’ post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.Strong experience with JCT and/or NEC contracts, ideally with both residential and infrastructure clients.Solid understanding of procurement models and risk allocation.A practical, collaborative approach and confidence managing client relationships directly.Ability to manage and supervise junior solicitors in the teamThe Team Join a close-knit, ambitious construction team known for:Advising on nationally significant regeneration schemes and public-private partnerships.A balanced, collaborative culture – no late-night or weekend culture here.High partner accessibility, structured training, and visible paths to progression.Strong presence across the UK and Middle East, including recent growth in the Gulf.The FirmA leading international firm with a Tier 1 reputation in real estate and infrastructure.
