White Label is working with an established engineering and manufacturing business in Wakefield that require a Hydraulic-Design Engineer to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer to join a growing engineering business delivering high-quality technical solutions across a wide portfolio of machinery.

My client is offering a salary of -45,000 - -50,000 plus:

Responsibilities of the Hydraulic-Design Engineer

• Design and implement hydraulic systems bespoke machinery
• Create P&IDs, circuit diagrams, manufacturing, and control drawings
• Carry out hydraulic modelling and system analysis to meet client requirements
• Liaise with sales and customers to define technical specifications
• Conduct risk assessments, FMEA/FMECA and produce technical files
• Generate BOMs and import data into ERP systems
• Support planning and production teams with queries and improvements
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure optimal component selection
• Promote continuous improvement and mentor junior designers when required

Experience required of the Hydraulic-Design Engineer

• Minimum HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD / Inventor and ideally ERP systems
• Strong experience in hydraulic system design and manufacturing drawings
• Experience in bespoke machinery would be desirable
