Technical ManagerOur client is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Manager to lead our Quality Assurance function within our packhouse operation in Ash. Reporting to the General Packhouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the site remains audit-ready and fully compliant with Food Safety, Quality, Legality, and BRCGS standards.This is a key leadership role within the business, offering the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across technical, compliance and production performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day activities of the Quality Assurance teamEnsure compliance with BRCGS standards, customer specifications and food safety legislationLead internal audits, GMP and hygiene inspectionsPrepare and support external audits, including responding to auditor queriesManage traceability exercises for product and packagingOversee product specifications in line with customer master specificationsInvestigate customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing corrective actionsConduct supplier, grower and customer technical compliance checksPrepare monthly Quality Service Level, CCPM and shelf-life analysis reportsMonitor KPIs and drive improvements in production efficiencyWe are looking for someone who is:Experienced within a fresh produce or food production environmentKnowledgeable in BRCGS standards and customer compliance requirementsOrganised, proactive and solution-focusedConfident leading audits and managing corrective actionsStrong in ..... full job details .....
