As a Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, managing the commercial aspects and ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.Conduct regular valuations and assessments of work done.Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contracts.Identify and assess variations to contracts and implement cost control measures.Prepare and submit monthly cost reports and financial forecasts.Collaborate with project teams to resolve commercial and contractual issues.Provide expert advice on commercial strategies and risk management.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant industry standards.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, cost estimating software).Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., RICS) is desirable.Education :Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:surveying: 2 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)To apply for this job please visit www.glassdoor.com .Visa sponsorship Site jobs
