My client is an established, leading National Civil Engineering Contractor. Due to planned growth, they are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis a Contracts Manager with a solid background Civil Engineering and Marine Civils Projects. Their core sectors include the following: - Marine and Coastal - Groundworks - Piling and Foundations - Highways - Development Infrastructure - Bridges and other large Structures - Water and Wastewater - Reservoirs Duties: Management of the Project/Site Manager, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Production of monthly reports Liaise with the Senior QS (Quantity Surveyor), Site QS. Ensure production, review, and monitor the delivery of the project/site health, safety, environment and quality plans. Develop effective relationships with the clients to maximise the perception and reputation of the business and secure profitable work. Taking responsibility for a contract at handover from the estimator Plan and monitor resource requirements. Promote a culture of integration, continuous improvement and use of best practice.
