We are currently working with a global financial services organisation on the recruitment of a MiFID/R SME on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is part of the 1st line risk and control team, supporting the Regulatory Lead in relation to EU/UK Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation and Directive (MiFID/R). This SME role is for candidates with prior experiences and expertise with EU/UK MiFID/R. The successful candidate should demonstrate initiative, ownership, attention to detail and pride in delivering at the highest standards. This will require extensive coordination with internal stakeholders across businesses and functions to support and meet required standards by the EU/UK MiFID/R regulations in relevant jurisdictions. Responsibilities include: assessing and enhancing the existing regulatory change process design and implementation, including divergence between EU and UK MiFID/, comprehensive review of obligations and corresponding controls for EU and UK MiFID/R and their mapping and management internally, maintaining reference control library for all EU and UK MiFID/R obligations, managing multiple MiFID/R publications and regulations inventory, maintain correct applicability and prevent any changes going overdue, develop, monitor and report key performance/risk metrics in relation to regulatory change and obligation and control mappings, drive and / or deliver any resulting remediation work.To be considered for this role you will be ..... full job details .....
