Support Worker - Children''s Contracts Kent 27,264 - 33,384 per annum Full-time Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm)About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join a dedicated and growing Children''s Contracts team across Kent. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people leaving care, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people, as they transition into independent living. You will play a vital role in empowering individuals to build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve positive long-term outcomes. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will manage your own caseload and deliver high-quality, person-centred support across a diverse geographic area.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of young people within supported accommodationProvide practical and emotional support to those living independentlySupport the development of essential life skills such as budgeting, education, and daily livingWork in line with individual pathway plans, ensuring progress and regular updatesLiaise with social workers, local authorities, and external stakeholdersPromote safeguarding and ensure all concerns are appropriately reportedMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresConduct property visits to ensure health and safety and accommodation standards are metSupport young people during move-ins, including inductions and settling into accommodationParticipate in ..... full job details .....
