Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for a well established manufacturing business based in Leicestershire

This is expected to be a temp to perm position

The Job:

They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in their Finished Goods team

You will be responsible for working in a team to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and to prepare the loading area to fulfil production demands

You will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere to

Which can include:

Moving pallets around the facility

Preparing loading areas in line with loading schedule documentation

Identify and report any damages or quantity issues

Loading trucks if needed

Operating a forklift and other MHE equipment once trained after being signed off to do so

Stock taking when required

Keep on top of housekeeping

• There are 2 shifts available -
• Mornings (Apply online only)
• Afternoons (Apply online only)
• Salary £13ph

The Person:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing role
• Previous experience driving a counterbalance forklift or other MHE equipment i.e. other types of forklift, LLOP or PPT is required
• Happy to work on either a morning shift or afternoon shift
• Access to own transport due to lack of public transport at certain shift times
