Engineering Team Leader Location - NorthamptonShift pattern - 4 on 4 off days and nightsOur client is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to oversee a team of engineers within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will be incremental in driving performance standards and supporting the development and ongoing training of engineers in your team.Responsibilities:Lead, manage and support shift engineers, including contractors.Conduct thorough shift handovers, ensuring all downtime and ongoing issues are clearly documented.Attend production meetings and communicate priorities, upcoming activities and engineering plans to the team.Take responsibility for the entire site during your shift, covering all engineering activities and on-site equipment.Oversee and manage planned maintenance tasks, ensuring high adherence to the maintenance schedule.Produce detailed root cause analysis reports for major stoppages, defects and segregations.Manage engineer break schedules to support production needs and optimise line performance.Coordinate and brief all in-house engineering activities and contractor works, ensuring permits and RAMS are in place.Requirements:Level 3 equivalent qualifications in Engineering, such as (NVQ, BTEC etc)Experience in a similar role, such as (engineering lead, lead engineer, senior engineer, maintenance team leader, maintenance shift leader, engineering supervisor)Strong fault-finding abilities and RCA experience.Should this position be of interest, please ..... full job details .....
