Early Years PractitionerDaily rate: CompetitiveLocation: Isle of Axholme (DN9)Job Type: 32.5 hours, temporaryStart date: September 2025I am currently working with a fantastic village primary school in the Isle of Axholme who are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to join their team from September 2025 until at least the December 2025. The school are looking for someone who has a background of working in EYFS and who holds a minimum of a Level 2 childcare certificate, or equivalent.Day-to-day of the role:Deliver engaging and educational activities within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.Monitor and assess children''s progress and development through observation and structured activities.Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate lessons and materials.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children''s progress and daily activities.Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom environment.Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.Proven experience in an EYFS setting.Strong understanding of the developmental needs and safety guidelines for early years children.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing high-quality care.Benefits:Competitive salary.Opportunities for professional development and training.Supportive and friendly working environment.Work hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.To apply for this Early Years Practitioner position, please apply with your CV and a consultant will get back to successful candidates within the next three working days.
