You will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership to drive AWS-based solutions for clients. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment with customer outcomes. Apply AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework while demonstrating technical credibility across stakeholders. Distill customer needs into technical requirements, decompose problems, and make trade-off decisions considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact.Possessing strong technology and program/project management experience, you will validate technical solutions against business goals, recognize when additional evaluation is needed, and manage technical risks. You will achieve and maintain relevant AWS certifications, develop domain-specific expertise, and communicate technical concepts to technical and business audiences. As you progress, you’ll lead increasingly complex technical projects, shape cross-organizational technical strategies, and establish best practices in your domain. You will apply management and leadership capabilities to execute project plans, identify and manage risks, resolve issues, escalate when appropriate, and drive projects to successful completion while exceeding customer expectations.The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our offerings help customers achieve outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover various solutions, technologies, and industries.AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services, upskill with AWS Training and Certification, optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services, and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services. Our expertise includes AWS Partners, AWS Sovereign Cloud, AWS International Product, and the Generative AI Innovation Center. You’ll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.Responsibilities

Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projectsLeveraging knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planningBridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomesDistilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomesDecomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutionsContributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standardsQualifications

Basic Qualifications8+ years experience in cloud computingExperience in project management of technical programsBachelor\''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience12+ years of direct client relationship management experience, including presentations to C-level executives and management of enterprise accounts valued at $5M+ annually12+ years experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiencesPreferred QualificationsAWS experience preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - AssociateStrong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practicesExperience applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption FrameworkProven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision-makersProven success managing multiple stakeholders in complex enterprise environments, with ability to adapt to team dynamics, cultural nuances, and varying operating stylesDemonstrates ability to present to C-level executives and technical experts, driving discussions on best practices, project management, and risk mitigationAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300/year in our highest geographic market.
