We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to work on a temporary contract for a Housing Association in Gloucester. This role is offering fully remote working.
Job title: Finance Officer
Location: Gloucester
Hourly rate: -19hr
Key Responsibilities of a Finance Officer:
- Accurately process supplier invoices and maintain up-to-date purchase ledger records.
- Resolve invoice queries and disputes promptly through collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, and other relevant financial regulations.
- Support financial audits by demonstrating adherence to key financial controls and procedures.
Requirements of a Finance Officer:
- Proven experience managing a busy purchase ledger in a multi-company or group structure.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls and inter-company transactions.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- AAT Level 2 qualification is desirable but not essential.
